Alexandra J. Calton

Attorney

Alexandra Calton is honored to advocate for justice on behalf of her clients within DeGaris Law’s mass tort, class action, product liability, and personal injury practice groups in Birmingham, Alabama.

From an early age, Alexandra knew she wanted to be an attorney after watching her father advocate and fight for justice for his clients. She comes from a family of 12 lawyers, further influencing her decision to pursue law. Alexandra graduated from the University of Alabama with a Political Science and Computer Science degree before earning her Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While at Cumberland, Alexandra served as the Treasurer of the Cumberland Sports Law Society and was involved in the Cumberland Public Interest and Community Service Society.

In addition to medical device and pharmaceutical drug litigation, Alexandra represents consumers whose Protected Health Information has been compromised as a result of a data breach. She has recently been appointed to serve as Interim Lead Counsel on a national data breach class action affecting 65,000 consumers.
